Publication of full papers (after the conference)
As was the case for the previous conferences, the Scientific Committee will continue the tradition of working towards publishing full papers in special issues of scientific journals, after a classical review process.
All contributions (both poster and oral presentations) may qualify for publication. These should be submitted as full papers no later than 1 December 2017 and will be subject to the journal-specific review process.
Four journals have expressed interest in publishing selected papers from the conference:
- Applied Geochemistry: Journal of the International Association of GeoChemistry (Elsevier)
Guest Editor: Andreas Gautschi (and team).
- Clay Minerals, Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland. Associate Guest Editor: R. Dohrmann(and team).
- Geological Society of London, Special Publications. Guest Editor S. Norris (and team).
- Geomechanics for energy and the Environment (Elsevier). Managing/Associate Guest Editor A. Gens (and team).
Please let us know no later than Friday, 15 September if you would like to submit a paper for publication, indicating a provisional title, a list of co-authors if applicable and the journal of your choice.
